I am currently a Staff Algorithm Engineer at Alibaba Cloud. Prior to this, I was a Postdoctoral Fellow working with Prof. Peter Wonka at the Visual Computing Center, King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST), from 2014 to 2017. I earned my Ph.D. in Applied Mathematics from Zhejiang University in 2014, supervised by Prof. Ligang Liu.

I have long been engaged in research and industral applications in Computer Graphics and Computer Vision, focusing on spatial tasks. Recently, my research focuses on Multimodal Large Language Models (MLLMs) and their integration with spatial tasks. Key areas of exploration include:

Spatial Intelligence: How can we enhance the spatial understanding and reasoning capabilities of MLLMs through task definition, data construction, model design, training strategies, and task evaluation?
Multimodal Post-Training: How can we improve MLLMs' abilities in general tasks and domain-specific applications through data synthesis, training strategies, and reward modeling?
